Vivi brings the youthful energy to the court AND to the Shut Up and Dill Podcast! She started the 002 tournament tour in 2024 by captaining her team to the $1k first place prize in their div. in the San Antonio Shootout!

How many times per week do you play pickleball (on average)?

4 times

Currently consistently medaling in 4.0, just moved up to 4.5.

What do you love about pickleball / Why do you play?

I love the community and people who have the same passion as me. I play because it’s growing so fast and I will forever be learning about the sport.

What is your favorite pickleball shot and why?

My favorite shot is the backhand volley because I have a two handed backhand - it’s very powerful and has a lot of topspin.

What is your biggest strength on the court and why?

My biggest strength is my 3rd shot drop and transition shots in general, I think I have a very good touch and can put as much angle as I want on the ball

What part of your game are you currently working on?

I’m currently working on shortening my swing at the net.

What courts do you like to play at most?

I love Cranky Pickle in New Braunfels.

Any great pickleball experience/story that you'd like to share?

Being so young, I get to play in the Next Gen tournaments which is great way to meet other juniors and challenge myself to some of the professionals.

What do you like to do when you are not on the court playing pickleball?

I like to go to the gym when I’m not playing pickleball.
